Ingredients used in Masala Semiya
• Semiya ( vermicilli) - 2 cup.
• Chopped onion - half cup.
• Ginger paste - half tea spoon.
• Garlic paste - half tea spoon.
• Tomato - 1 no.
• Green pepper - 3 no.
• Green peas - half cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Cook Semiya in 6 cups of water with little salt. Drain excess water.
  • In a pan add oil, Chopped Onion ,Ginger paste ,garlic paste ,Tomato ,peas,green pepper and fry well,add salt to it. Stir well till peas are tender.
  • To this add the cooked semiya and simmer for 10-15 minutes and serve with ketchup

It won't be soggy. The trick lies in the way u cook the semiya. Put a spoonful of oil while boiling semiya, after almost done, drain it, and spread it in a plate before cooking it with veggies. For me, it turned out real good.

Tried this..however it came out more like a paste. Guess we need to parboil the semiya.

Did u mean chillis when u meant pepper... This did not turn out good at all.. it was soggy & sweet..
