Description: Learnt this recipe from my mother in law because my husband loves this recipe. Easy to make & goes well with Dosa, Idly & Rawa Dosa.

Recipe of Pachimirpakayya Chutney

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Tamarind as per taste
Oil 1 Tablespoons
Coriander Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Green Chilles 6 Piece
Urad Dal 1/2 Cup
Channa Dal 3/4 Cup
Salt As Per Taste
Water 1 Cup


Heat oil in frying pan. Add Channa Dal, followed by Urad dal & Coriander seeds. Roast the ingrediants for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add green chilles & Tamarind and saute them for another few minutes. Add adequate water & bring it to a boil. Let it cool for a while. Add salt. Then grind it in grinder coursely. Your chutney is ready to eat.
