Description: Pizza base is an oven baked, flat shaped bread made with flour, yeast, warm water, sugar, olive oil etc combined together and made to a soft and smooth dough.

Recipe of Pizza Base

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Water 250 ml
Sugar 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt 1 Teaspoons
All Purpose Flour - Maida 7 Cup
Yeast 7 Gram Pkt (quick Raise ) 1 Bag
Olive Oil 5 Teaspoons

Directions

  1. take warm water
  2. Sprinkle in yeast, sugar,salt,and a cup of allpurpose flour and mix. Stand covered for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix in yeast mixture into flour.
  4. Knead for 3-4 minutes till soft dough.
  5. Cover and rest for 1 hr.
  6. Knead again, for 3 minutesand resr for 30 min.
  7. Take a lump of dough, pat or roll into a pizza base.
  8. Use dry flour to dust if required.
  9. Add pizza gravy as required, add toppings,
  10. Bake in a hot (300C) oven, till base is crisp and light.

your all recipes are good and easy. me & my husband like it .this recipe is also good
but i need little help when i make this pizza first time it was good .but now it become stiff .and some time it half cooked.when i make the dough it was not puffed up .
so please healp me

Please confirm the amount of water you used for the Pizza Base recipe, you mentioned 250 ml, but the video seems to show that it is much more than 250 ml...thank you. Good job !

in my opinion proportion for (roti) dough should be 2:1 (ie 2cup flour : 1 cup water) not 7:1
