there is another way to do podimas. u can use both boiled potatoes and banana (unripe one). for unripe banana u should boil it and crate it like we do for carrot salads.

1. Boil and mash potatoes roughly.
2. grind green chillies and ginger without water.
3. In oil put mustard seeds, broken urad dal, chenna dal, curry leaves, and also this chilli ginger paste.
4. Saute for a minute.
5. Add the roughly mashed potatoes and add salt to it.
6.mix them well switch off the stove and add coconut and lime juice.
7. Mix well and serve garnish with corriander leaves.

Chef,

I have said this before. But i would like to say it once again that u r the best. Ur tips make cooking very easy. Some of the dishes which we used to pick up from outside are all made at home chef. For a party I made gajar ka halwa and the look on the guests face was unbelievable. They loved it. Now it has become kind of a speciality. Mysore Pak crumbled , but the taste came out perfect. Hv to perfect that. U are a very honest human being. That is the best thing about you. I don't know very many people who will give so many tips just to make others cook well. THANK U CHEF. I will be saying Thank you very shortly.
