Ingredients used in Crispy Fry Masala Bhendi
• Ladies finger/bhendi - 250 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Sambar powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Corn flour - 1 cup.
• Buttermilk - 1 cup.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup.
• Red chili (cubes) - 4-5 number.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions (roundels) - 5-6 number.
Method:

Preparation of bhendi masala:

  • Mix finely chopped onion, garlic, coriander leaves, sambar powder along with corn flour on a plate.
  • Slit ladies finger and stuff with the prepared mixture.
  • Make a batter by using buttermilk, pepper powder, wheat flour, corn flour.
  • Later dipbhendi/ladies finger in the earlier batter and coat with drycorn flavour.
  • Then deep fry in hot oil until light golden brown.

Preparation of sauce:

  • In a bowl, add mayonnaise, coriander leaves, red chilli, lime juice, onion roundels and mix well.
