Ingredients used in Butter Paneer
• Panner - 1 cup.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Medium sized onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Single cream - 1 cup.
• Butter or ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon.
• Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) - 1 tablespoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Make a fine paste of onion, ginger, garlic in a blender and keep aside.
  • Heat the butter or ghee in a heavy bottomed pan, add the earlier prepared paste, fry till golden in color.
  • Then add tomato puree, kasuri methi, salt, red chili powder, mix well and stir cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cream and garam masala powder, mix well and let it simmer for 2-3 more minutes.
  • Add the paneer pieces and cook for a couple of minutes. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with plain rice or Naan Bread.

Hi Sanjay, I like all your recipes. I tried Butter paneer receipe but after mixing all the spices in the milk, I kept it for boiling for 3 mins. The milk turn into paneer. I dont know what went wrong? Please suggest some solution as I like butter pan
