Ingredients used in Nuts Poornam Boorelu
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Toor dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Masoor dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Split gram dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Walnuts (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Pistanchio(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Almond(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup.
• Water (if required add more) - 1 tea spoon.
• Dosa batter - as required.
• Oil - to fry.
• Ghee - as required.
• Sugar - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Dry roast urad dal, toor dal, chana dal, masoor dal, split green gram, grind to a fine powder and keep aside.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a pan, add walnuts, pistachios, cashew nuts, almonds and roast them.
  • Now add freshly grated coconut to it, cook for about a minute, also add prepared dal powder and saute well.
  • To it, add sugar and mix well.
  • If required can also add a teaspoon of water for moisture.
  • Shape the mixture into small ladoosand coat them with dosa batter.
  • At last, deep fry in hot oil till outer layer turns golden brown in color.
