Ingredients used in Pakoras - Bhajyas
• Chickpea flour/besan - 1 cup.
• Small onion (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 no.
• Baking powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ground cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Cilantro leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Mint leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Mix every ingredient well, except water and oil.
  • Slowly add water until you have a thick paste.
  • Heat oil for deep frying on medium-low.
  • Carefully, dip batter in oil with tablespoon one by one.
  • Turn and cook at both sides until golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney.
