Ingredients used in Garlic Lemon Chicken Curry
• Chicken - 250 grams.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Green chilies (slitted) - 3 number.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Raw onion paste - 1 cup.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (crushed) - 1 tea spoon.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Lemon zest - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add slitted green chilies, curry leaves, chicken pieces and saute them.
  • Once the chicken gets slightly cooked, add raw onion paste and cook for about 10 minutes with closed lid.
  • Now add tomato puree, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook until raw flavors are gone.
  • Then, in another pan, add crushed garlic, butter, saute it by adding chopped coriander leaves.
  • When the color of garlic slightly changes, grate some lemon zest into it.
  • To it, add some crushed pepper, lemon juice and mix well.
  • Now transfer this mixture to the cooking pan with fried chicken and saute it for 1-2 minutes.

Delicious Lemon ginger chicken is now ready to serve.
