Description: Raw banana curry is a simple south Indian curry recipe which is best enjoyed with plain rice or chapatis.The raw bananas are stir fried with blended coconut masala andwhich is seasoned with mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies.

Onion Chopped 1 Numbers
Hing Pinch
Urad Daal 1 Teaspoons
Chana Daal 1 Teaspoons
Red Chilly 2 Numbers
Mustard Seeds 1/4 Teaspoons
Oil 1 Tablespoons
Coconut Powder 2 Tablespoons
Green Chilly 4 Numbers
Plantain (raw Banana) 2 Numbers
Curry Leaves 2 Springs
Salt To Taste
Turmeric Pinch
Garlic Chopped 1/2 Teaspoons


  1. First take green chilly, fresh grated coconut put in to the blender and make a paste. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add red chilly, chana dal, urad daal, pinch of hing, onion chopped, curry leaves, salt, turmeric, chopped garlic, sauté it for a minute, add plantain (boiled), toss it and add prepared paste of coconut and green chilly, mix it well and cook for 5 minutes, add chopped coriander, then switch off the flame.

Here is slight difference in sabji it is more simple and quick adding lemon juice enhance the taste.
