Soak the rice for 1/2 hour. Chop the nuts well and roast it in butter and keep it aside.Boil the milk and bring to simmer and add the sugar to it.. Now add rice to the milk mixture. Let it cook in the milk for some time and keep stiring. After some 45 mins. the rice becomes soft . Add cardomom and the nuts and mix well.Leave it for 5 or 10 mins.in the heat and allow it to cool and serve.
As long as the rice cooks slowly in the heat , the product will be tasty
