Recipe of Vegetable Chow Mein

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Green Chili Sauce  1 Teaspoons
Soy Sauce  1 Tablespoons
Vinegar  1 Teaspoons
Chopped Onion (cut lengthwise)  1/4 Cup
Finely Chopped Garlic  1 Clove
Finely Chopped Spring Onion  1 Numbers
Shredded Carrot  1/2 Cup
Shredded cabbage  1 Cup
Oil  1-2 Tablespoons
Noodles  8 oz
Salt   To Taste
Ground Black Pepper  1/4 Teaspoons

Directions

Preparing the noodles - Bring water to boil. Add a some salt to the water and add in the noodles. It will take only a few mins to cook. Make sure you dont over cook the noodles. Drain the noodles. Transfer the noodles back to the pot and add cold water to soak the noodles. This keeps the noodles from sticking. To make the Chow Mein - In a hot wok, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil and add the finely chopped Garlic. Wait a few seconds and add the onions, carrots and cabbage. Toss well. Drain the noodles soaking in cold water to the partially cooked vegetables. Add the soy sauce, green chili sauce, vinegar, salt , black pepper and and toss it all together. Taste it and adjust the seasoning to your taste. Enjoy!
