Ingredients used in akkaravadisal
• Saffron - 5 to 6 leaves to taste.
• Cashews and nuts - 10 grams.
• Milk - 2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Moong dhal - 1/2 cup.
• Raw rice - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 1/2 cup.
  1. Mix 1 cup of raw rice and half a cup of moong dhal together in a vessel. pour 2 cups of milk in it.nbsp;
  2. Place it in a cooker and allow to boil for 15minutes. Meanwhile take a tawa roast the cashews and nuts by pouring half a cup of ghee. In another tawa add the boiled rice and moong dhal mixture. pour 1 cup of sugar in it . stir it well .nbsp;
  3. add the roasted cashews and nuts in it. stir it well to get a less thick consistency. finally sprinke the saffron over it to get a nice flavour !
