Ingredients used in Atar Allecha
• Split green peas - 1 cup.
• Garlic -- finely chopped - 2 tablespoon.
• Onion - 1/3 cup.
• Garlic - 2 cloves.
• Green chili - 2 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Soak the peas for 2-3 hours, then boil and mash it.
  • In dry pan over moderate low heat, stir fry the onion and garlic for 2 mins. Add oil and stir fry one minute more.
  • Add the mashed peas, tumeric, salt, and chili and mix well.
  • Add the water and cook 3-4 mins longer to reduce the mixture to a thick, green, well spiced puree.

Serve hot.
