Ingredients used in Authentic Chicken Curry
• Coconut milk ( optional ) - 2 Tbsp tablespoons.
• 2% plain yoghurt ( optional ) - 2 Tbsp tablespoons.
• Corriander leaves ( chopped ) - 1/4 Cup cup.
• Curry powder - 1 Tsp teaspoons.
• Gharam masala powder - 1 3/4 Tsp teaspoons.
• Chili powder - 3/4 Tsp teaspoons.
• Cumin powder - 2 Tsp teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 3/4 Tsp teaspoons.
• Large spanish onion ( diced ) - 1 large.
• Ginger+garlic paste - 1 1/4 Tbsp tablespoons.
• Bonless, skinless chicken breat - cut into pieces - 1kg piece.
• Guatamalan green chili ( chopped ) - 1 piece.
• Ex. vg. olive oil - 3 Tbsp tablespoons.
• Salt ( coarse sea ) - 1 Tsp teaspoons.
• Hot water - 3/4 Cup cup.
• Tomato paste - 1 Tbsp tablespoons.
• Tomato ( diced & drained ) - 1 large.
Method:
In Advance - gt; Saute Chicken Peices Until 50% Cooked Set Aside In Container.... Heat Oil In A Non Stick Pan Add Onion ( Fry Until Golden Brown ) Add Tomato Paste amp; Diced Tomato ( Stir Fry 2 Mins ) Add All Spices ( Powders ) amp; Fry ( **Roast** ) Only Until Flavors Blend ( Approx 1 - 2 Mins. ) Add Chicken, Salt, Chili, amp; Ginger Garlic Paste ( Cook 3 Mins ) Add Hot Water amp; Cover... Let Simmer On A Low Heat Covered ( Stirring Occasionally ) For 30 - 40 Mins Add Cilantro / Corriander Leaves amp; Let Simmer Unvovered At This Point 3 Mins (Turn Of Heat ) Add Room Temp Yoghurt Or Coconut Milk And Stir......( Optional ) If You Find Your Curry A Little Thick, Add Hot Water Until Desired Consistency!! Serve Over Bed Of Jasmine Rice Or With Roti, Naan Or Light Paratha!! Enjoy... Sajaa K.

This is an awesome recipe and very easy to make. Both my husband and son ask me to make this recipe at least once every two weeks. The dish is as good as the best Indian restaurant food in our area. Great with Naan and Basmati rice. Definitely wo
