i did a breakfast dish which became my family favorite.It is a typical south indan cuisine.It is really a healthy dish made with poha.Very low in fat and extremely good for our health.

Ingredients used in Aval Kolukattai(Poha dumblings)
• Dry red chilli(cut in to small pieces) - 2 piece.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Chenna dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Urad dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Hing - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Coconut (grated) - ½ cup.
• .aval (powdered) - 2 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Water - 4 cup.
• Salt to taste - to taste.
• Gram flour - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
1.Powder the POHA Coarsly. 2.Take a kadai ,add oil and let it heat up 3.Now add mustard seeds and let it crackle. 4.Now add Chenna dal,Urad Dal,Cumin seeds ,Hing and fry for 1 min or so.till the dals are done. 5.Add Whole red chilli and Curry leaves. 6.Then add water and salt and let it come to a boil. 7.Now add grated coconut and powdered poha and stir continuosly so that no lumps are formed. 8.Add gram flour and stir continuosly in simmer for about 5 min. 9.Now transfer in another one bowl and let it cool. 10.Appply oil to your hands and make small balls and keep aside. 11.Now steam this in idli cooker for about 7 min or so. 12.Transfer it in to hot case. 13.Serve Hot .
