Bengal Gram recipe also called as "Hayagriva" is a traditional dessert made in most Madhwa temples.
Hayagreeva is a very common sweet dish made in most Madhwa brahmin homes .It is offered as naivedyam everyday in Sodhe Vadiraj Mutt in Karnataka. It is basically Bengal gram cooked in jaggery and flavored with clarified butter ,coconut, etc to get melt in mouth creamy rich dessert. It is a very simple & quick dessert and there isn’t anything that you can mess up here. I’m sure, this dish would turn yummy even when prepared by the newbies.

Should I leave the skin of cardmom pod on when blending to powder. Or should it be removed first. And what should I do if I want the cardamom powder for savoury dish.?

Nice video. But please do not use the steel spoons over non stick pans. You are killing the pan and harming yourself by eating the non stick teflon. Please it is very dangerous.ThanksFoodLover?
