CABBAGE CASHEW UPMA

Ingredients used in CABBAGE CASHEW UPMA
• Semolina - 1 cup.
• Tomato - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Cabbage - 1 numbers.
• Green chillies - 5 numbers.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Ginger - small.
• Garlic - 5 numbers.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts.
  • Then add chopped ginger, chopped onions, chopped green chilies, curry leaves, tomatoes, salt (as per taste) and add water bring all this to a boil.
  • Then add grated cabbage, semolina and mix it well.
  • Once it becomes thick, Switch off the flame.

To make the chutney:

  • Take a pestle add cumin seeds, garlic and crush it.
  • Add red chilli powder, oil and curd, mix it well.
  • Add grated cabbage and ground it.

Serve on a plate.
