CAPSICUM OATS FRY

Ingredients used in CAPSICUM OATS FRY
• Capsicum - 200 grams.
• Oats - 1 cup.
• Oil - ½ tablespoon.
• Mustard seeds - ½ tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - ½ tea spoon.
• Dry red chilli - 2 numbers.
• Ginger & garlic (chopped) - ½ piece.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Green chilli (chopped) - 3 springs.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, finely chopped ginger and garlic, urad dal, chana dal, pinch of hing, curry leaves, chopped green chilli and onions, salt mix well and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Then add turmeric powder, capsicum pieces mix well and cook this with lid on in a slow flame till 80% done (approx 5 min.)
  • Once it done, add oats in it and cook it for 2 minutes on low flame.

Serve it with puri, chapathi orRice.
