DRY SHRIMP RIDGE GOURD CURRY

Ingredients used in DRY SHRIMP RIDGE GOURD CURRY
• Dry shrimp - 1/4 kg.
• Ridge gourd - 1 number.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Chopped onion - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tablespoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Garam masala - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Clean dry shrimp by removing tail and head of it
  • Chop ridge gourd into pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onions, salt and saute it.
  • Take a pan boil water in it and add dry shrimp and cook for 1min switch off the flame.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, turmeric powder and saute it.
  • To it add ridge gourd, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt and saute it, later place lid cook for 2 minutes.
  • Remove lid and add boiled dry shrimp without water and saute it later cook it with closed lid for about 5 minutes.
  • Then add garam masala and mix well.

Dry shrimp ridge gourd curry is ready to serve with rice, pulka and roti.
