Interesting recipe. I will try it for sure. However, what oil was used? And was the Lentils soaked or cooked before? They come dried and can't be placed like that in the oil.?

It's a good recipe. But i would like to suggest that while marinating add salt, red chilly powder, fenugreek seeds powder.Then rest it for a while....then add lemon juice in it...and while tempering the pickle add mustard seeds, and HING.(asafoet
