Ingredients used in Chicken Fry
• Chicken - 1 lbs.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Green chilli - 5 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 4-5 tablespoons.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder(dhaniyala podi-optional) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Lemon - 1-2 tablespoons.
• Coriander(kothimeera) - 6 springs.
• Mint leaves(pudina-optinal) - 2 springs.
• Turmeric (pasupu) - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Clean chicken with warm water and cut it into small pieces.
  • Chop Onions and cut green chili in lengthwise.
  • Now add oil to a nonstick pan and let it heat. Add chicken and let it fry for 4-5 minutes. Cover the pan with its lid.
  • Now add salt and turmeric and again close the lid and let it fry for 3 minutes. After that add onions and green chilies and let it fry for 3 minutes
  • Now add ginger garlic paste, mix well and fry till water get drain.
  • Then add red chilli powder according to your taste and mix well.
  • Now add garam masala, coriander powder and mix well. Let it dry for 2minutes on low flame. Off the stove and add coriander and mint leaves and squeeze half a lemon.

Tasty chicken fry is ready. You can have this with rasam and rice.
