Ingredients used in Chicken Masala Fry Biryani
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Hot water - as required.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Cinnamon stick (1 inch) - 2 number.
• Cardamom - 3 number.
• Shah jeera - 1 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 4 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 3 number.
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch.
• Basmati rice (soak for 1/2 hour ) - 1 cup.
• Cashew nuts - 6 number.
• Ghee - as required.
• Chopped onion - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Boil chicken in hot water by seasoning with ginger garlic paste, curd, salt (to taste).
  • Now in a pan, heat oil then add cumin seeds, whole garam masala spices (cinnamon stick, cardamom, shah jeera, cloves), chopped green chilies, mint leaves, salt, along with 2 cups of water (for 1 cup of rice) and boil it.
  • Then add soaked basmati rice and cook it till all rice is perfectly cooked.
  • Heat ghee in another pan, fry cashew nuts, chopped onion, curry leaves, mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves, green chilies and saute it.
  • For additional flavor, season it with coriander powder, garam masala powder, mix by even adding boiled chicken with the water.
  • At last, adjust seasoning, add cooked rice and cook it for 5 minutes.

Serve it hot.
