Ingredients used in CHICKEN PULAV WITH QUINOA
• Chicken - 200 grams.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Cloves - 5 numbers.
• Black cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cinnamon - 1 stick.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Bay leaf - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Onions (sliced) - 1 cup.
• Mint leaves - 6 numbers.
• Yogurt - 3/4 cup.
• Quinoa - 1-1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add chicken, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt and mix thoroughly later marinate it for some time.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cloves, black cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf, green chillies, sliced onions saute it.
  • Add marinated chicken, mint leaves and cook it on slow flame for 10 minutes by placing the lid.
  • Add yogurt, mix it and cook it for 5 minutes with a lid on it.
  • Add quinoa, add sufficient water so that quinoa is just submerged. Then place the lid and cook it for 10 minutes.
  • After 7 minutes add lime juice, coriander leaves and mix it nicely.

Now the chicken pulav with quinoa is ready to serve with raitha.
