CLUSTER BEANS CHANNA PARUPPU USILI

Ingredients used in CLUSTER BEANS CHANNA PARUPPU USILI
• Channa dal - 1 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Red chilly - 5 numbers.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Cluster beans - 250 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chilly - 3 numbers.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • First, soak the channa dal, red chilly, curry leaves in water for 2 hours, and grind them into acoarse paste.
  • Heat oil in a pressure pan add mustard seeds, chopped onions, curry leaves, hing, turmeric, saute it and add green chilly, cluster beans, salt, and some water cook for few minutes, and then add daal put the lid on cook without a whistle in a slow flame.

Switch off the flame, serve this with rice, chapatti.
