Curry Leaves Idiyappam

Ingredients used in Curry Leaves Idiyappam
• Curry leaves - 3-4 bunch.
• Water - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Rice flour - 1 cup.
• Coconut oil - as required.
• Coconut milk - half cup.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Cardamom - 2 number.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chillies ( chopped ) - 2 numbers.
Method:
  • In a blender add curry leaves, water and blend it to a fine paste.
  • Strain the water out of curry leaves paste in a bowl.
  • Now add salt, rice flour, cococnut oil to the same bowl and mix it into a soft dough.
  • Transfer the prepared dough into a sev, press in a cabbage leaf and steam cook in a steamer for 10 minutes.
  • Take coconut milk in a bowl and add sugar, cardamom, turmeric, garam masala, green chillies and boil them.

Serve the idiyappam toped with prepared coconut milk.
