Ingredients used in Dal rice
• Tumeric powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Big onion - 1 .
• Tomato - 2 .
• Garlic - 5 piece.
• Red chilli - 2 .
• Green chilli - 3 .
• Curry leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Channa dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Ural dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Pepper corn - 8 .
• Rice - 2 cup.
• Ghee - 2 teaspoons.
• Sambar dal - 1 cup.
Method:
Soak the rice and dal for half an hour. grind garlic pieces,cumin seeds ,1 green chilli,pepper corn and keep the masala aside. In a pan pour oil.Once the oil heat,put cumin seeds,mustard seeds,channa dal,ural dal.after these crackle,add curry leaves ,green chilli,red chilli,onion and fry it until it gets brown colour.then add ground masala and fry for few more minutes.then add sliced tomato and tumeric powder and let it to cook for 3 minutes.then pour required amount of water .then add rice and dal and cook it .
