Ingredients used in Drumstick Pickle
• Drum stick ( chopped ) - 3 numbers.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Peanut oil - as required.
• Dry red chilies - 3 numbers.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 3 sticks.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup.
• Red chili powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Dry roast the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, transfer into a blender and make a fine powder out of it.
  • Heat oil in apan, add dry red chillies, chana dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, hing, curry leaves, drum stick pieces, salt and cook it well.
  • Now add tarmarind pulp, red chili powder, grinded masala, sugar and cook it for about 15 minutes.

Drumstick Pickle is now ready to serve .
