Ingredients used in Easy Chicken Curry With Onion Tomato Gravy 1
• Chicken (pieces) - 500 grams.
• Cashew nut and poppy seed paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Mint leaves (finely chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 kg.
• Tomato (chopped) - 1 kg.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:

Preparation of Tomato onion gravy:

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add chopped onion, salt (to taste), saute it onions are slightly changed.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and cook it for about 10-15 minutes with closed lid.
  • now, this gravy can be stored in air tight containers and put it in refrigerator for further uses.

Preparation of Chicken curry with Tomato onion gravy:

  • Heat a pan, add 1 cup of onion tomato gravy, 1 teaspoon of cashew nut and poppy seed paste along with some water and mix it well.
  • Add chicken pieces to the above pan and let it cook with closed lid for 15 minutes, after that check the seasoning.
  • To it, add garam masala powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, mix this and serve this hot.
