CASHEWNUT WHITE GRAVY WITH FISH CURRY

Ingredients used in CASHEWNUT WHITE GRAVY WITH FISH CURRY
• Fish pieces - 8 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• White pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - as required.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Cashew nuts paste - 1/2 cup.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Marinate fish pieces with salt, lemon juice, white pepper powder, poppy seeds for about 5 minutes.
  • Then shallow fry the fish pieces and keep aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped green chilies, curry leaves, cashew nut paste, pepper powder, little water and let it boil.
  • Add fried fish pieces and cook it in above prepared white gravy for about 2 minutes.

Serve it with hot rice.
