Ingredients used in five star cake
• Graged coconut - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 1 cup.
• Milk - 1 cup.
• Sugar - 3 cup.
• Beasan or maida - 1 cup.
• Elaichi - 3 numbers.
Method:
Roast besan or Maida till you get a good smell. Keep this aside Now , mix sugar, milk and coconut in a heavy bottomed kadai and bring it to a boil. Slowly add the roasted flour and mix the ingredients throughly till it becomes smooth. Continue stirring this mixture and keep adding ghee while you do this. When the mixture starts lifting it self from the sides add powdered cardamom and remove from fire and transfer the contents in a greased tray. Allow the contents to cool and cut the sweet in to diamond shape or square shape. When it is cool store in an air tight container. This stays well for at least ten days

Are you using the same measuring cup for dry & wet ingredients? is 1 cup of dry measurement the same as 1 cup of wet ingredients?
