Ingredients used in Ghee Mutton Roast
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper (crushed) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic cloves - 8 number.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Fennel powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Fry mutton pieces in ghee till mutton turns tender.
  • Boil water in a pan and cook the fried mutton in it for few minutes with closed lid.
  • In another pan, add oil and heat it. When it is hot enough, add curry leaves, slit green chilies, saute by sprinkling pinch of salt. Keep aside.
  • In the same pan, add chopped onion, turmeric powder, desiccated powder, and cook until onions are slightly transparent.
  • Now season it with fennel powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and cook it with closed lid.
  • Once the gravy thickens, add crushed pepper and garlic and mix well.

Delicious Ghee Mutton Roast is now ready to serve.
