Ingredients used in Gongura Aloo Fry Pulihora
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chili - 3 number.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 piece.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Baby potato (boiled chopped) - 1 cup.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chillies - 2 number.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Sambar powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Sorrel leaves (chopped) - 2 bunch.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Rice (cooked) - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, dry red chillis, chana dal, cumin seeds, urad dal, toss it and saute for about a minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, chopped ginger, curry leaves, boiled & chopped baby potatoes, onions, slitted green chilis, saute well, add coriander powder, cumin powder, sambar powder, chopped sorrel leaves, curd, sprinkle salt and cook well.
  • Transfer cooked rice, toss well, turn off the flame and transfer to serving bowl.

Gongura Aloo Fry Pulihora is now ready to serve.
