INSTANT GRAVY POWDER

Ingredients used in INSTANT GRAVY POWDER
• Ground nuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Desiccated coconut - 1 tablespoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cashew nut powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Dry ginger powder - pinch.
• Asafoetida - pinch.
• Carrots(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• French beans(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Take a pan, dry roast groundnuts, remove skin and transfer to a plate.
  • In the same pan, dry roast sesame seeds and keep aside.
  • Dry roast dessicated coconut powder then add curry leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves in the same pan and keep aside.
  • When colour change to brown add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, cashewnut powder, dry ginger powder, asafoetida and dry roast it.
  • Grind already dry roasted ingredients along with salt and blend to a fine powder.
  • In a pan add water, carrots, french beans and boil it.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of prepared gravy powder and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  • At last, garnish with coriander leaves.

Now curry prepared with instant gravy powder is ready to serve.
