Ingredients used in Kaara Kulipaniyaram
• Urad dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 1/4 cup.
• Musterd - 1 teaspoons.
• Hing - 1 teaspoons.
• Dried red chilli - 6 numbers.
• Fresh coconut grated - 1/2 cup.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Besan - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 1/2 cup.
• Cashew nus - 10 numbers.
Method:
1. Soak Rice with coconut and dried red chillis in water for 30 mins. 2. Grind corsely in a processor to a dosa batter consistency.(batter is better little thick than dosa mixture) 3. Add Besan flour. 4. Heat a small pan and add 1 tbsp Oil,when hot add musterd seeds, urad dal,curry leaves,Cashew nuts and hing. 5.Pour this sizzling oil in the flour mixture. 6. Add required amount of salt. 7.Now heat up the traditional kuzhi paniyaram pan on the stove. 8. Pour 1 tbsp oil in each paniyaram scoups. 9. Once the oil is hot enough, pour the batter to fill 3/4 th of the space in each scoup. 10. Once the moisure getts absorbed in the top portion of the paniyaram#39;s, prick it with a fork and turn the paniyaram#39;s upside down. 11.Allow it to cook for another one minute and remove. 12.Again pour 1tbsp oil in the scoups and repeat procedure for the remaining batter.
