Ingredients used in KOTHIMIR VADI
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Vadi (chopped) - 150 grams.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Kothimir / coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 bunch.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add choppedvadi and sautethem some time on a slow flame and switch off the flame. Keep it aside. In abowl, take some water add coriander powder, chilly powder, salt, hing, turmeric powder and mix it. Keep it aside. Now, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, masala mixture, mix it. Once it comes to a boil, add water then even add vadi and kothimir and cook for 5 to 7 minutes and switch off the flame.
