Maa Laadu

Main Ingredient : Dall

Published date : June 14, 2018

Ingredients used in Maa Laadu
• Cardamom - 2 piece.
• Almond (5), cashew (5), raisins(15) - 25 piece.
• Ghee - 1/4 cup.
• Sugar - 1/2 cup.
• Roasted chana dal (soft yellow dal used for coconut chutney) - 1 cup.
Method:
The ratio of the above ingrediants (roasted chana dal, sugar and ghee in order) should be 4:2:1 (in other words, 1:1/2:1/4) Grind roasted chana dal, sugar and cardamom well. It grinds very fast. Sieve it so that you will get fine powder. Heat ghee and fry the almonds and cashew nuts. Take it out and break it coarsly. Do not fry raisins. Cut the raisins to small pieces. Add the broken nuts and raisins to the ground powder. Pour the ghee to the powder and form small balls (normal rasgulla size). Your sweet is ready to eat.
