Ingredients used in MASALA CHICKEN FRY
• Cinnamon stick - small.
• Dry red chillies - 5 number.
• Star anise - 1 number.
• Maize - 1 number.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Pepper - 1 tea spoon.
• Sounf - 1 tea spoon.
• Musk seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Grated fresh coconut - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric - pinch.
• Chicken - 1 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take a pan and add dry red chilies, star anise, cinnamon stick, maize, coriander, bay leaf, pepper. Saute all these nicely.
  • Now add saunf and musk seeds. Saute all these nicely for few mins.
  • Add Grated fresh coconut. Saute all these nicely for few mins.
  • Now take a mixi jar, add all these ingredients make it into a fine paste.
  • Then take a pan, add oil add chopped onion, curry leaves, salt as per taste. Saute all these nicely.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste,pinch of turmeric and chicken pieces and mix it well. Cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  • Now add coconut and dry red chilli powder that we have prepared atstarting. Cook for 10 mins.
  • Now add chopped coriander leaves. Saute all these nicely.

Serve with hot rice.
