Ingredients used in METHI THEPLA
• Methi leaves(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Yogurt - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup.
• Chana dal(roasted) - 1 tablespoon.
• Cheese sev - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato pickle - 1 tablespoon.
• Mango pickle - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add methi leaves, oil, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves and mix nicely.
  • To it add wheat flour and mix it later add water, yogurt to make the soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into small portions and roll it.
  • Heat the tawa and cook the tepla on both sides using oil.
  • Transfer it into a plate and spread the tomato or mango pickle.
  • Crush the chana dal, cheese sev with pestle.
  • Spread the crushed masala on the tepla and roll it.
  • Half of the roll cover it with the foil.

Now the methi tepla are ready to serve.
