Ingredients used in Moroccan Chickpeas
• Chick peas (kabuli chana) - 2 can.
• Organic gourmet veggie broth - 2 numbers.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Garlic - 2 cloves.
• Parsley - 2 teaspoons.
• Cinnamon stick - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Black pepper powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Raisins - half cup.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Water - 8 cups.
Method:
  • Saute onions in water with 1/4 teas. veggie broth.
  • Place garbanzos in large soup pot and add water to cover.
  • Add rest of veggie broth. Bring to boil.
  • Add bay leaf, and all remaining ingredients except raisins.
  • Heat and then add raisins.

Great with some brown basmatic rice.
