Ingredients used in Moroccan Stew 2
• Chick peas (kabuli chana) - 1 cup.
• Onion - 1 cup.
• Celery(chopped) - half cup.
• Green bell pepper - half cup.
• Garlic - 1 clove.
• Vegetable broth - 3 cups.
• Sweet potato - 3 cups.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Olive oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Raisin - to taste.
• Peanut butter - to taste.
• Coriander leaves - 4 springs.
Method:
  • Heat olive oil in a large, non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions, celery, green pepper and garlic.
  • Cookuntil vegetables begin to soften, about 3 minutes.
  • Add all remaining ingredients, except raisins, peanut butter and coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  • At end mix in raisins, coriander leaves and peanut butter.

Serve hot.
