Ingredients used in Muruku(Fail proof crunchy muruku)
• Melted hot piping butter/oil/ghee/margrin/dalda - 3 tablespoons.
• Chilly powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Jeera - 1 tablespoons.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Urad dal - 1 cup.
• Rice flour - 4 cup.
• Oil - 500 to fry.
• Salt - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
Method: 1.Boil the 1 cup urad dal in 3 cups of water in pressure cooker till it is nice and soft like a paste COOL it completly (do not grind for best results). 2. Add rest of all the ingrediants and make a nice dough with little water if needed, can add more rice flour if it becomes to..runny. 3. Using the muruku press directly press the dough into hot oil carefully making small rounds and deep fry them on medium high untill golden brown. 4. Drain on paper towles and store in air tight container 5.Will keep fresh up to 1 month.
