Ingredients used in MUSHROOM AND BABY CORN PULAO
• Butter - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 4 tablespoons.
• Bay leaf - 2 numbers.
• Black cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cinnamon - 1 piece.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Carrot(cut into lengths) - 2 numbers.
• Onions(long slices) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Green chili paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Baby corns - 1/2 cup.
• Mushrooms - 1 cup.
• Water - 2-1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Basmati rice - 1-1/2 cup.
Method:
Heat butter with oil and add bay leaf, black cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and saute it. Add carrot, onions, little salt and saute it. To it add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chili paste, baby corns saute it for 1-2 minutes. Now add mushrooms and saute it. Now add water, check for seasoning and add salt, boil it. To it add lime juice, basmati rice and cook with the lid on it until it is done on slow flame. Now mushroom and baby corn pulav are ready to serve.
