1. Clean and cut meat .
2 . Grind chillies , turmeric , ginger ,cumin and half the onion .
3.Slice the other half of the onion and garlic .
4. Heat fat and fry onion and garlic lightly .Add powdered cloves and fry .
5. Add meat and the ground spices . Fry well ;cover pan and cook on a slow fire without water for half an hour .
6. Add hot water and salt ;simmer till meat is tender .
7. When meat is cooked ,add tamarind pulp .Cook for a few minutes longer .
