Ingredients used in Mutton Dalcha
• Tamarind pulp 1/4 Cup.
• Salt 0 To Taste.
• R. Chilli powder 2 To Taste.
• Coriander powder 2 Teaspoons.
• Turmeric 1/2 Teaspoons.
• Ginger - garlic paste 1 Tablespoons.
• Mutton 1 Pound.
• Cinnamon - clove powder 1/4 Teaspoons.
• Toovar Dal 1/4 Cup.
• Oil 3 - 4 Teaspoons.
How to make the recipe:
1. Boil the dal with some water, tumeric and very little oil. Keep it aside. 2. In a pressure cooker add mutton, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, r.chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and oil. Add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. 3. Once the pressure is gone, add tamarind pulp and cinnamon-clove powder to the mutton mixture and boil for 5 mins or till the raw smell of tamarind goes away. Serve hot with rice or chapatis.
