Ingredients used in Mutton Papdi
• Mutton - 250 grams.
• Double beans - 60 grams.
• Potatoes - 60 grams.
• Onions - 150 grams.
• Ginger - 5 grams.
• Garlic - 2-3 grams.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chillies - 2 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 1 number.
• Cinnamon - 1(1/4) numbers.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/8 bunch.
Method:
Clean and cut mutton into 2.5 cm. cubes. Peel and dice potatoes. Wash, but keep double beans whole. Put the mutton in to a vessel. Add curry powder and simmer till mutton is tender. Add potatoes and double beans. Simmer till vegetables are cooked and gravy is thick. Remove from fire. Add washed and chopped coriander leaves. Heat oil in a fry pan. Add onions, cloves and cinnamon. When onions start browning add curry. Stir well for 5 minutes.
