Ingredients used in Mutton Stew
• Green chillies (chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger (cut fine) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green beans (cut bite size) - 1/2 cup.
• Peas - 1/2 cup.
• Potatooes (small diced) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrot (small diced) - 1/2 cup.
• Mutton/lamb - 500 grams.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic (cut fine) - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
  • Cut the meat into small bite size pieces. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until transparent,
  • Add cut ginger and garlic, green chilli.
  • Now add 1 tablespoon of flour.
  • Add the meat pieces and saute until meat is browned on all sides.
  • Now add 2 cups of water, cook meat until half done.
  • Then start adding the veggies starting with potatoes, then beans, then carrots, then peas.
  • Once all the veggies are added your meat and veggies will all be cooked at the same time.
  • Now add salt, pepper and garam masala powder.
  • Make sure the gravy is not to thin nor too thick. Top with choped fresh coriander leaves.

Serve with crusty bread.
