Ingredients used in Nargisi Kofta
• Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - to taste.
• Salt - to taste.
• Bread crumbs / nilgiri flour - 250 grams.
• Sweet potato(boiled & mashed) - 1 piece.
• Beet root(finely grated) - 2 piece.
• Green chillis(chopped) - 2 piece.
• Ginger(finely grated) - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
Squeze out all the water from grated beet root. amp; ginger. Now mix beet root ,sweet potato,green chillis, ginger amp; all spices. Make balls from the mixture. Roll it into the Nilgiri Flour or Bread Crumbs well. Deep fry these balls in hot oil. Take them out on paper towel or tissue so that all excess oil should be absorbed. Now press these balls a bit with the help of palm amp; fry again. Take them out amp; serve hot with date amp; tamarind chutney.
