Ingredients used in Nepalese Fried Rice
• Rice - 250 grams.
• Split black gram - 100 grams.
• Ginger sliced - 2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Butter - 4 teaspoons.
• Asafoetida - 1 pinch.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chillies - 2-3 numbers.
• Garlic - 1 teaspoons.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
Method:

1.boil the rice taking care that the grains remains separated.

2.boil the split black gram with ginger and salt in 1nbsp; 1/2 cups of waternbsp;in an iron utensils till the mixture dries but is not overnbsp;cooked.

3.heat the butter in a heavy bottomed pan; add the asafoetida and cumin seeds followed by the whole red chillies .fry over low heat till brown .

4.add the garlic .when it becomes light brown ,add the onions and fry till they become brown.

5.add the rice and split black gram .cook over a low flame till the liquid gets absorbed .serve hot,nbsp;nbsp; accompained by yoghurt.
