Ingredients used in Pathuporul Chatni
• Red chilli - 2 numbers.
• Green chilli - 2 numbers.
• Garlic - 5 clove.
• Ginger(cut into pieces) - 1 piece.
• Tomato(cut into pieces) - 1 numbers.
• Onion(cut into pieces) - 1 numbers.
• Coconut (grated) - 1 cup.
• Urad dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Corriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Mint leaves - 4 leaf.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:

1) Fry the Urad dal in an empty pan(dont put oil) until it turns golden brown (you will get a good falvour once its fried) and keep it aside. 2) Put a little oil in the pan and fry the onions. Once the Onions are fried, add the ginger and garlic and saute it for sometime(2-3mins) 3) Add the green and red chillies and tomato to the above and saute it for another 2-3 mins 4) Reduce the heat and add Corriander, Mint and Cocunut and keep it in low flame for 5 mins. 5) Allow the above mix to cool for sometime. Grind the mix with salt and urad dal in mixie. Add water as required.
